Wrap with Turkey Breast and Peanut Butter
Perfect as a break snack: Even kids who aren't big fans of vegetables will definitely not say no to a wrap with turkey breast and peanut butter!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp flour (Type 1050 and dough flour)
- a pinch salt
- 0.5 red bell pepper
- 2 iceberg lettuce leaves
- 1 tbsp Peanut butter
- 1 tbsp mild ajvar
- 50 g smoked turkey breast (2 slices)
Instructions
-
1.
Add flour and a pinch of salt to a bowl. Pour in 30-40 ml water and knead with the dough hooks of a hand mixer into a firm, well-formed dough. Wrap in cling film and let rest briefly.
-
2.
Meanwhile, deseed half the bell pepper, wash it, and cut into thin strips.
-
3.
Wash lettuce leaves, dry them by patting, and also cut into strips.
-
4.
Roll the dough on a floured work surface with a rolling pin as thin as possible into a round flatbread.
-
5.
Heat a non-stick pan without fat and bake the flatbread from each side for 1-2 minutes. Immediately place it on foil and roll once to keep it from becoming brittle.
-
6.
Then re-roll the flatbread, spread peanut butter and ajvar over it.
-
7.
Top with turkey breast slices and distribute bell pepper and lettuce strips on top.
-
8.
Roll the flatbread tightly, wrap again in foil, and cut it in half before eating.
