Winter Salad with Oranges and Roquefort Dressing

Ingredients

  • 350 g chicory
  • 0.5 lemon
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 70 g walnut kernels
  • 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Walnut Oil
  • salt (pepper)
  • 50 g Roquefort cheese
  • 2 tbsp port wine
  • 150 g heavy cream
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Clean the chicory, halve it, remove the tough core and cut into 1 cm wide strips. Squeeze lemon juice over the strips.

    Peel oranges in a spiral pattern, separate segments, and halve them. Peel onion and slice into thin rings. Roughly chop walnuts. Arrange chicory, orange segments, onions, and nuts on plates.
