Winter Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 1 Orange (juice)
  • 20 ml rum
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 80 g dried apricots
  • 200 g white grapes (pitted if desired)
  • 2 Bananas
  • 2 tbsp hazelnut kernels

Instructions

    Bring the lemon juice, orange juice, rum, honey, star anise, cinnamon and 3-4 tbsp water to a boil. Simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes.

    Dice the apricots. Wash the grapes, halve some, and add everything to the spice syrup. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

    Peel the bananas and slice them. Finely chop the nuts and mix them with the bananas into the syrup. Let sit for about 10 minutes before serving, removing spices if desired.
