Ingredients
- 600 g whole wheat flour
- 250 ml lukewarm water
- 1 cube yeast
- 1 tsp cane sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- butter (for the pan)
- 2 tbsp rolled oats
Instructions

Dissolve yeast with sugar in lukewarm water and stir until smooth.

Combine flour and salt in a bowl, add dissolved yeast, and knead with an electric hand mixer’s dough hooks into an elastic dough. Add more flour or water if needed. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes.

Turn the dough onto a floured surface, shape into a loaf, dust oats on the surface, roll the loaf in them, then place it in the greased baking pan. Cover again and let rise for another 15 minutes, then bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 35–40 minutes. Remove, cool slightly in the pan, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
