Mozzarella Stuffed Bread

Ingredients

  • 150 g large baguette
  • 100 g iceberg lettuce (0.5 head)
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 large carrots
  • 125 g mozzarella
  • 0.5 bunch Basil
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • 400 g cooked chicken breast strips (pre‑made)
  • 40 g salad cream (2 tbsp)

Instructions

    Slice the baguette lengthwise and hollow out the center.

    Wash, dry, and cut the lettuce into thin strips. Wash, blanch, peel, core, and dice the tomatoes. Peel and grate the carrots coarsely. Drain the mozzarella and slice it. Wash, dry, and tear basil leaves.

    Place the bread halves side by side. Line the top with basil, spread mozzarella over it, and season lightly with pepper and salt. Add the grated carrot ribbons and season again. Distribute the chicken strips on top and cover with tomato slices. Season once more with pepper and salt.

    Spread salad cream on the bottom halves, layer lettuce on top, press down gently. Carefully reassemble the bread halves, cut into 3 cm wide pieces, arrange on four plates, and serve the mozzarella stuffed bread.
