Ingredients

  • 4 slices whole grain bread (with sunflower seeds)
  • 2 tsp cream cheese
  • 0.5 small radish
  • Salt
  • 0.5 small zucchini
  • 1/3 cucumber
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 2 tbsp chives rolls
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 8 chive stems
  • 1 handful chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. 1.

Cut the whole grain bread diagonally in half, spread cream cheese on one side of each half. Wash and peel the radish, slice it into thin rounds, season with salt. Wash the zucchini, cut into 8 thin slices, then cut the remaining part lengthwise into strips. Slice the cucumber similarly. Lightly pepper the cucumber and zucchini slices.

  2. 2.

Arrange the bread without cream cheese on four small plates, top with cucumber slices, sprinkle some chives over them and drizzle a little vinegar. Then place radish slices on top, cover with two zucchini slices, drizzle more vinegar, and sprinkle chives again. Cover with the cream‑cheese side down of the remaining bread slices. Thread the lengthwise zucchini strips onto wooden skewers, insert them into the whole grain sandwich, and garnish with parsley and chives before serving.
