Ingredients

  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 2 untreated oranges
  • 250 ml white wine
  • 100 ml light grape juice
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 8 blue grapes
  • 1 Nectarine
  • Sparkling mineral water (to top up)
  • ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1.

Halve the lemon and orange, slice into rounds. Set aside two orange slices. Warm the wine with the juice to lukewarm, add the cinnamon stick, sugar, vanilla sugar, and all fruit slices. Remove from heat and let steep covered for 1 hour. Strain through a sieve and chill.

  2. 2.

Wash the grapes, remove stems, halve them, and pit. Wash, dry, halve the nectarine, remove the stone, and cut into thin slivers. Chop the reserved orange slices into pieces and distribute the fruit among wine glasses. Pour in the chilled sangria, top with sparkling water, and add 1–2 ice cubes per glass if desired.
