Ingredients

  • 700 g watermelon
  • 200 g Raspberries
  • 150 g red currants
  • 40 g sugar
  • 0.5 lemon (juice)

Instructions

    Peel the watermelon and, if necessary, remove seeds. Wash the raspberries and currants. Blend 500 g of watermelon with 100 g raspberries, the sugar, and the lemon juice in a blender.

    Freeze the melon puree for about 3 hours to make granita, stirring every 20 minutes during the first hour with a fork. Dice the remaining melon.

    Take the granita out of the freezer about 15 minutes before serving. Scrape it into chilled glasses with a spoon. Skewer the remaining raspberries with the melon cubes, arrange the skewers on the glasses, and garnish with currants.
