Ingredients

  • 120 g dried dates (pitted)
  • 120 g walnuts
  • 6 tsp cocoa powder (18 g; heavily defatted)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch Vanilla powder
  • 2 Tbsp coffee beans (30 g)
  • 2 tsp coffee powder (10 g)
  • chili flakes

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Add dates, nuts, 4 tsp cocoa powder, a pinch of salt and vanilla powder to a blender and blend until a homogeneous dough forms.

    Add the coffee beans and mix briefly. Using a tablespoon, scoop out 16 portions of dough and shape them into balls.

  3. 3.

    Mix the remaining cocoa powder with coffee powder and chili flakes, then roll the energy balls in this mixture.
