Vegetable with Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 kg mixed vegetables (chosen as desired, washed, cleaned, cut into large pieces)
  • 125 ml Vegetable broth
  • 3 cloves of bay leaves
  • 3 Juniper berries
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 tbsp mixed kitchen herbs
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 500 g quark
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions

    Fill a large pot with enough water so that the liquid stands about 2 cm high, add the bay leaves, juniper berries and bay leaf, and bring to a boil.

    Place the vegetables in a steamer basket and steam covered over high heat for about 15-20 minutes until firm yet tender.

    Mix the herbs with quark and crème fraîche, add the pressed garlic, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Serve the vegetables with the dip, accompanied by boiled potatoes.
