Ingredients

  • 400 g puff pastry (frozen)
  • 150 g passata
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 bell peppers (yellow and red)
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 2 balls mozzarella (diced)
  • 4 tbsp grated Parmesan
  • Salt
  • freshly ground pepper

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200°C. Thaw the puff pastry.

    Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.

    Wash, halve, deseed, and dice the bell peppers. Sauté the peppers with onion and garlic in hot oil for about 5 minutes until translucent, then remove from heat and let cool. Mix in herbs and cheese, seasoning with salt and pepper.

    Roll the puff pastry into a rectangle about 35x20 cm, leaving a 2 cm border. Spread the passata over it, spread the filling on top, and roll up. Brush the seam with water and press firmly. Cut into roughly 12 rolls and place them on parchment paper on a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
