Vegetable Gratin with Gorgonzola

Vegetable gratin with Gorgonzola from Spoonsparrow is spicy‑aromatic and always well received!

Ingredients

  • 800 g potatoes
  • Salt
  • 800 g carrots
  • 0.5 bunch marjoram
  • 150 g Gorgonzola
  • 200 g whipping cream
  • 1 tsp oil
  • pepper (from grinder)

Instructions

    Peel, wash and quarter the potatoes; simmer in salted water for 10 minutes.

  2. 2.

    Wash, peel and cut the carrots into sticks; add to the potatoes after 10 minutes and cook for another ~5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

    Rinse the marjoram, pat dry, remove leaves and chop finely. Crumble the Gorgonzola and mix with the cream and marjoram.

  4. 4.

    Place the potatoes and carrots in a large greased baking dish, season with salt and pepper, then pour the Gorgonzola‑cream mixture over them.

  5. 5.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
