Vegan Bruschetta

Spoonsparrow vegan bruschetta tastes great as an appetizer or side dish again and again.

Ingredients

  • 5 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 handful basil
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • Sea salt
  • 4 slices whole‑grain bread

Instructions

    Wash the tomatoes and remove the stems. Quarter them, seed them, and dice the flesh into small cubes. Wash the basil, shake off excess water, pluck the leaves and cut into fine strips. Mix the tomatoes and basil together.

    Peel the garlic, finely chop it and mix with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
