Spoonsparrow vegan Bircher Müsli provides a balanced and tasty start to the day.

Ingredients

  • 200 g buckwheat
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 pear
  • 2 Apples
  • 45 g raisins (3 tbsp)
  • 30 g oat bran (2 tbsp)
  • 500 ml unsweetened almond drink
  • 1.5 tbsp agave syrup
  • 4 grapes

Instructions

    Rinse the buckwheat and cook it in twice its volume of boiling water for 15–20 minutes over low heat.

    Meanwhile, peel the banana and cut into small cubes. Wash the pear and apples, remove cores, grate the fruit onto a sieve to create a pulp.

    Add the banana cubes, cooked buckwheat, raisins, oat bran, and almond drink to the grated fruit; sweeten with agave syrup, mix well, and refrigerate for 2 hours.

    Serve the vegan Bircher Müsli in four bowls, optionally drizzle more almond drink on top. Wash the grapes, halve them, and place two grape halves on each bowl of Bircher Müsli.
