Turkish-style cookies are a perfect after-work recipe – quick to make, healthy and with fresh ingredients.
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 100 g sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 100 g flour
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 120 g ground almonds
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with upper and lower heat.

Separate the eggs. Beat the yolks with the sugar until fluffy. Whisk the whites with the salt until stiff peaks form. Mix the flour, cornstarch, almonds, and baking powder together and fold into the yolk mixture. Gently fold in the beaten egg whites. Using two tablespoons, drop small dough heaps onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.

Remove from the oven, let cool, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
