Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 150 g sugar
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 200 g shredded coconut
- oil (for greasing the baking sheet)

Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat, then fold in the lemon juice. (The meringue should be very firm)

Fold the shredded coconut into the meringue. Preheat the oven to 150°C. Spoon small piles onto a greased baking sheet using a piping bag or spoon. Bake the macarons for about 20 minutes. Let them cool.

Remove from the tray and serve.
