Tuna Tartare on Salad

Ingredients

  • 350 g fresh tuna fillet
  • 2 shallots
  • 2 bunches chives
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 2 oranges
  • 200 g lamb's lettuce
  • 6 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

    Finely chop the tuna fillet. Peel and finely dice the shallot.

    Wash and pat dry the chives. Cut half into very fine ribbons and mix with the tuna, shallots, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Shape the tuna tartare into small mounds with 2 tablespoons and refrigerate.

    Peel the oranges, removing the white pith. Separate the segments from the membranes. Clean and rinse the lamb's lettuce thoroughly and dry by spinning.

    Whisk together vinegar, mustard, and oil. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange the lamb's lettuce, orange segments, and tuna tartare on a plate or bowl. Drizzle the dressing over them. Halve the remaining chives and scatter over the salad.
