Tuna Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 can tuna (in its own juice)
  • 150 g cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp capers (from jar)
  • 2 pickled anchovy fillets
  • 2 sun‑dried tomatoes in oil
  • 2 small spring onions
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • sugar

Instructions

    Drain the tuna and blend with cream cheese, lemon juice, capers and anchovies until creamy. Finely dice the sun‑dried tomatoes, trim and wash the spring onions, then slice into very thin rings. Set aside some tomato cubes and onion rings for garnish. Stir the remaining tomatoes and onions into the tuna sauce. Season with vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar. Sprinkle with the tomato cubes and onion rings before serving.
