Tuna Pasta Salad with Tomatoes

Ingredients
- 400 g penne
- 1 Shallot
- 4 EL white wine vinegar
- 8 EL olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 150 g tuna (canned, natural)
- 4 tomatoes
- 200 g frozen peas
- fresh oregano
- Tabasco
Instructions

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente, drain, rinse under cold water and let cool.

Whisk together vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, and a few drops of Tabasco to make a salad dressing; fold in finely chopped shallot.

Drain the tuna and flake it apart.

Wash the tomatoes, cut off stems, and slice into wedges.

Blanch peas in boiling salted water for 4 minutes, drain, and shock in ice water.

Combine pasta, tuna, tomatoes, and peas in a bowl; gently toss with the dressing and chill for 1 hour.

Sprinkle fresh oregano before serving.
