Tramezzini

- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- a few drops olive oil
- Salt
- ground pepper
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 small pot basil
- 8 slices sandwich bread
- 100 g reduced-calorie processed cheese tomato pepper
- 100 g salami (thinly sliced)

Quarter the bell peppers, clean them and remove the white seeds and ribs. Rinse the peppers and peel with a vegetable peeler. Rub a grill pan with a few drops of olive oil and heat it. Grill the pepper quarters on both sides for 1-2 minutes, pressing flat with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper.

Rinse lettuce leaves briefly and pat dry with kitchen paper. Detach basil leaves from stems. Trim the edges of the sandwich toast slices, then roll them flat with a rolling pin. Spread processed cheese on the bread slices. Layer 4 slices with lettuce, peppers, basil leaves, and salami. Cover each with another slice of toast, press lightly, and cut the sandwiches diagonally once.
