Tomatoes Wrapped in Ham

Ingredients

  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 2 sprigs sage
  • 150 g Parma ham (thin slices)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 0.5 tsp Peppercorns
  • 0.5 tsp Sea Salt

Instructions

    Wash the tomatoes, cut off the stems and slice them into about 1 cm thick rounds. Remove the sage leaves and place them on the tomato slices. Wrap each slice with ham and secure with toothpicks if needed. Drizzle with olive oil and grill both sides for 4-5 minutes over high heat.

    Crush coriander, peppercorns, and sea salt in a mortar. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the tomatoes and serve as an appetizer.
