Tomato Salsa

Ingredients

  • 12 tomatoes
  • 50 g dried tomatoes (in oil)
  • 4 Spring Onions
  • 1 Green Chili Pepper
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • pinch sugar
  • Sea salt
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 bunch Basil

Instructions

    Wash the tomatoes, quarter them, remove the flesh and dice. Finely chop the pickled tomatoes. Wash, trim and slice the spring onions into thin rings. Wash the chili pepper, halve it, seed it and finely chop. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.

    Combine all ingredients with olive oil. Season with lemon juice, sugar, sea salt and cayenne pepper, then fold in chopped basil. Let stand for about 15 minutes, taste again and serve with white bread if desired.
