Ingredients

  • 4 slices of white loaf bread (or toast bread)
  • 4 thick slices of Fontina cheese
  • 16 cherry tomatoes
  • olive oil

Instructions

    Wash cherry tomatoes, place them in a greased baking dish, brush with olive oil and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20-25 minutes.

    Meanwhile, lightly toast the bread slices. When the tomatoes are ready, top the toasted bread with Fontina cheese, arrange the cherry tomatoes on top, place on a baking tray and bake in a hot oven until the cheese melts (about 5 minutes). Serve immediately while hot.
