Ingredients

  • 4 leaves lettuce (e.g., romaine)
  • 300 g tuna in its own juice
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • 1 handful basil
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Salt
  • a splash lemon juice
  • pepper (ground)
  • 4 large tramezzini

Instructions

    Rinse the lettuce, shake dry, clean and cut into small pieces. Drain the tuna well and flake it with a fork in a bowl. Wash, trim and finely chop the spring onions. Rinse basil, shake dry, pluck leaves and slice into fine strips. Mix spring onions, basil, and mayonnaise with the tuna. Season with salt, lemon juice, and pepper, then spread onto 2 tramezzini. Top with lettuce and cover with the remaining two slices of bread. Press lightly, cut diagonally across the halves.
