French Fries

The crispy fries from Spoonsparrow taste great for the whole family and provide potassium.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg waxy potatoes
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 30 g tomato salsa sauce

Instructions

    Wash and peel the potatoes thoroughly. Cut into sticks about 1 cm thick and rinse with cold water. Pat dry on kitchen paper.

    Heat vegetable oil in a pot to about 170 °C. Fry the potato sticks in batches for about 5 minutes until they are tender but still colorless. Remove from the oil. Raise the temperature to about 190 °C and fry the potatoes again in batches for 2 minutes until crisp and golden brown.

    Carefully lift the fries with a slotted spoon, drain well, sprinkle with seasoning salt, and serve with tomato salsa if desired.
