Ingredients
- 600 g white beans (canned)
- 1 onion
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g chopped tomatoes (canned)
- 1 splash dry red wine
- 1 sprig rosemary
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- a pinch sugar
Instructions

Wash the beans in a sieve and drain well.

Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Sauté in hot oil for 3-4 minutes until translucent, then add the tomatoes and red wine. Cook gently with occasional stirring for about 10 minutes.

Remove rosemary leaves, roughly chop, and add to the bean mixture with the tomato sauce. Simmer gently for another ~10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar before serving.
