Teegranité
A refreshing dessert featuring chilled black tea infused with mint and a splash of peach liqueur, served in elegant glasses and garnished with mint chocolate squares for a delightful finish.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp black tea
- 1 cup mint
- 12 tbsp peach liqueur
- 12 mint chocolate squares (for garnish)
Instructions
-
1.
Boil 1 liter of water. Steep the tea leaves in it for 3 minutes, then strain through a fine sieve into a shallow bowl.
-
2.
Trim mint sprigs (reserve six for garnish), rinse and steep them in the tea until cooled. Remove the mint from the tea and pour the mixture into a shallow metal dish. Place in the freezer and freeze for 6–8 hours, stirring every two hours to break up ice crystals, then stir once more each hour.
-
3.
Fill glasses with the frozen tea granité, drizzle peach liqueur over it, and garnish with the remaining mint sprigs and mint chocolate squares before serving.
