Turkish-Style Dough Dumplings with Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients
- 400 g flour
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1 egg
- Salt
- 200 g ground lamb
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp parsley (chopped)
- 1 tbsp mint (chopped)
- 1 tsp Paprika powder (hot)
- 300 g yogurt
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Salt
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Paprika powder (hot)
- mint (for garnish)
Instructions

Knead dough ingredients with about 150 ml lukewarm water into a smooth dough, adding more water or flour if needed. The dough should be smooth and elastic. Cover and let rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

Peel and finely chop the onion; mix with ground lamb, mint, parsley, paprika powder, and salt to taste.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into approximately 4 cm squares. Place half a teaspoon of filling in each square’s center, fold corners toward the middle, and press together star‑shaped.

Bring plenty of salted water to a boil and cook the dumplings for about 4 minutes.

Mix yogurt with lemon juice and lightly salt it. Melt butter and stir in remaining paprika powder.

Drain the dumplings, arrange on preheated plates, pour yogurt sauce over them, drizzle paprika butter, and garnish with mint.
