Ingredients
- 1500 g butternut squash
- 6 cloves garlic
- 3 chili peppers
- 1 tsp peppercorns
- 500 ml white wine vinegar
- 500 g sugar

Cut the pumpkin in half, peel, remove seeds and cut the flesh into about 1.5 cm cubes.

Boil peeled garlic with chili peppers and peppercorns in vinegar, add pumpkin cubes, take off the heat and cover for 24 hours. Then stir in sugar and simmer until the pumpkin is translucent but still firm, fill everything into hot rinsed jars and seal.
