Ingredients
- 2 tsp butter (for the ramekins)
- 2 stale rolls
- 400 g cherries
- 2 Eggs
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
- 125 ml milk (3.5% fat)
- 60 ml whipping cream
- 2 tbsp almond flakes

Grease 4 oven-safe ramekins.

Slice the rolls into thin slices. Wash, dry, pit the cherries and set aside a few for garnish. Distribute the remaining cherries and roll slices over them in the ramekins. Separate the eggs; beat yolks with sugar and cinnamon until fluffy, add milk and cream, stir in. Whisk egg whites to stiff peaks and fold into the mixture. Pour batter into ramekins, sprinkle almond flakes on top.

Bake the sweet bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for about 25 minutes. Remove and serve immediately with the remaining cherries.
