Ingredients

  • 150 g berries (mixed frozen)
  • 30 g almond sticks
  • 50 g coconut palm sugar
  • 0.25 tsp agar-agar

Instructions

    Rinse a 200 ml screw-top jar with boiling water and dry it upside down on a kitchen towel.

    Thaw the berries in a pot with 2 tbsp water and coconut palm sugar, letting them melt together.

  3. 3.

    Toast the almond sticks in a small non-stick pan without fat until lightly browned; let cool on a plate.

    Stir agar-agar into the berry mixture and bring to a boil for about 2 minutes.

  5. 5.

    Fold the toasted almonds into the berries, spoon the spread into the prepared jar, seal it, refrigerate, and use within 2–3 months.
