Ingredients

  • 1 kg rosehip (seedless)
  • 4 lemons
  • 700 g honey

Instructions

    Collect ripe but firm rosehips, preferably before October 15. Wash them, trim stems and flower buds, halve, and remove seeds using gloves. Juice the lemons and simmer with rosehips and 100 ml water until the rosehips soften.

    Add honey, let cool slightly while stirring for about 15 minutes. Press the pulp through a sieve, fill jars, let sit for a few minutes, then seal tightly. Store the rosehip jam without sugar in a cool, dark place.
