Swedish-Style Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion
  • 1 egg
  • 50 ml whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 600 g minced meat
  • plant oil for frying

Instructions

    Peel and finely dice the onion. Add the egg, cream, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, parsley, cinnamon, and cloves to a bowl and mix well. Let sit for about 10 minutes, then fold in the minced meat and shape into small balls.

    In a large pan, heat oil over high heat and brown the meatballs all around for 5-6 minutes.
