Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 100 g quark
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 Shallot
  • Salt
  • 24 black olives (pitted)

Instructions

  1. 1.

Cook the eggs for about 10 minutes until hard-boiled, cool them in cold water, peel and cut lengthwise in half. Remove the yolks and mash finely with a fork. Mix the yolks with quark, cream cheese, and mayonnaise. Peel and finely chop the shallot; fold it into the creamy mixture and season with salt. Optionally use an ice cream scoop to form small balls and place them into the egg halves.

  2. 2.

Drain the olives well and cut each in half. Place one half on top of the center of the egg filling, pressing gently so the cut side faces down. Cut the remaining halves lengthwise into thin strips and arrange them around the olive halves like "spider legs".

  3. 3.

Arrange on plates or a platter and serve.
