- 1 onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 Eggs
- 800 g ground beef
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 150 g shepherd's cheese (feta)
- 4 tbsp heavy cream
- 2 tbsp chopped marjoram leaves
- butter for frying
- 1 pack frozen French fries
- 1 small bottle taco sauce
- 500 g cherry tomatoes
- 2 Spring Onions
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 6 tbsp Olive oil
- marjoram leaves for garnish
Instructions
-
1.
Soak rolls in lukewarm water. Peel onion and garlic, finely chop the onion. Sauté in 1 tbsp butter and squeeze in the garlic.
-
2.
Mix ground beef with well-drained rolls, eggs, and the onion-garlic mixture. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and mustard. Mash shepherd's cheese with a fork, then stir in cream and herbs.
-
3.
Bake frozen fries according to package instructions until crisp.
-
4.
Shape 8 thin patties from the meat mixture; place a layer of cheese mixture on 4 patties, cover with remaining patties, and form into stuffed patties, sealing edges tightly so cheese doesn’t leak.
-
5.
Brown stuffed patties in butter over medium heat, then cook for about 8 minutes to finish.
-
6.
Prepare salad: clean, wash, halve cherry tomatoes. Wash spring onions, trim white and light green parts, slice thinly, and scatter over tomatoes.
-
7.
Whisk salt, pepper, vinegar, and olive oil into a dressing; toss tomatoes with it.
-
8.
Serve stuffed patties with fries and tomato salad on plates, drizzle taco sauce over patties, and garnish with marjoram leaves.
