Burger fans alert: The Cranberry Burger from Spoonsparrow is a very special treat, try it yourself!
Ingredients
- 350 g finely ground turkey meat
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 slices stale white bread
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 4 lettuce leaves (e.g., Lollo bionda)
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 4 buns
- 4 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 4 tbsp cranberries (jarred)
Instructions

Knead the turkey meat with the egg yolk and breadcrumbs into a well-formed mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Shape into 4 patties.

Cut the stale white bread into very small pieces and fry in hot butter until golden brown. Sprinkle parsley over them and let drain on kitchen paper.

Rinse, clean, and dry the lettuce leaves.

Pan-fry the patties in hot oil for 5-6 minutes on each side.

Halve the buns horizontally and layer with lettuce and patties. Spread mayonnaise and sprinkle toasted bread crumbs. Top each with a few cranberries, place the bun lid back on, and serve the Cranberry Burger.
