Stuffed Meatloaf with Egg

Ingredients

  • 1 old-fashioned roll
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 300 g veal mince
  • 800 g turkey ground meat
  • 1 tsp seasoned broth
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 4 hard‑cooked eggs

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200°C.

    Soak the roll in lukewarm water, then squeeze out excess liquid. Peel and finely chop the onion. Peel the garlic and press it through a press. Knead together the veal mince and turkey ground meat. Season with broth, a pinch of salt and pepper. Fold in the parsley. Place half of the meat mixture into an oiled loaf pan. Peel the eggs, create indentations in the meat and place the eggs inside. Cover with the remaining meat dough.

    Slide into the oven, add a heat‑proof cup of water, and bake for about 50 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve warm or cold with mixed salad.
