Stuffed Meat Patties
A classic from Mediterranean cuisine that always tastes good: Try the stuffed meat patties from Spoonsparrow!
Ingredients
- 1 flatbread
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 600 g ground beef
- 0.5 tsp Dried oregano
- 0.25 tsp ground cumin
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 200 g Feta Cheese
- 6 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 150 g green and black olives
Instructions

Cut a small piece of flatbread, about 100 grams, into cubes and soak in water. Peel and finely chop garlic and onion; sauté both in hot butter until translucent, then set aside to cool slightly.

Squeeze the soaked bread dry and mix with ground beef, garlic, onion, half the parsley, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper.

Crush the feta cheese. With damp hands, shape the meat mixture into flat patties, placing a small amount of feta in the center, folding over, and sealing firmly.

Mash the remaining feta with 3 tbsp olive oil. Combine with parsley, lemon juice, and olives to make a sauce.

Heat the remaining olive oil in a pan and fry the patties on both sides for about 8 minutes. Serve the olive‑cream on leafy greens with leftover flatbread and stuffed patties.
