Filled dates with goat cheese from Spoonsparrow are a spicy-sweet delight from Levant cuisine.

Ingredients

  • 150 g goat cheese (45% fat)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 0.25 tsp ground coriander
  • 0.25 tsp ground cumin
  • 8 large dried dates (pitted)
  • 8 half walnuts
  • 0.5 bunch chives (10 g)

Instructions

    Whisk goat cheese with lemon juice and honey until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, coriander, and cumin.

    Fill each date with 1 tsp of the seasoned cheese, top with a walnut half, and arrange on a plate. Wash, dry, and finely slice chives into rings; sprinkle over the dates.
