Streuselkuchen

Ingredients
- 0.5 cube Yeast
- 125 ml lukewarm milk
- 250 g flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 egg
- 30 g softened butter
- 225 g rosehip jam (1 jar)
- 4 sour apples
- juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 200 g Flour
- 100 g sugar
- 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon
- 120 g softened butter

Crush the yeast into the lukewarm milk, add sugar and stir until smooth.

In a bowl mix flour and salt; add egg and butter, pour in the yeast mixture, and knead with an electric hand mixer’s dough hooks until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes.

Grease the baking sheet. Place the dough on it and roll out slightly larger than half the sheet. Quarter the apples, peel and core them. Slice the apples into thin strips and mix with lemon juice and sugar. Spread the rosehip jam over the dough and top with apple strips.

Knead flour, sugar, cinnamon, and butter into crumbs. Distribute the crumbs over the cake. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (middle rack) for about 25 minutes.
