Ingredients
- 450 g frozen puff pastry (10 sheets, 1 pack)
- 5 pears
- some lemon juice
- 10 tsp powdered sugar
- 50 g marzipan raw mass
- 10 tsp rosehip jam
Instructions
-
1.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (gas: level 3-4, convection: 180°C). Let the puff pastry sheets thaw side by side for 10‑15 minutes. Halve, peel and core the pears. Slice each half lengthwise into thin wedges so they still cling at the stem end; drizzle lightly with lemon juice.
-
2.
Trim a ~1 cm border from each puff pastry sheet. Place the sheets on a parchment‑lined baking tray. Brush the borders with water and lay them as "edges", trimming any excess ends.
-
3.
Roll out the marzipan raw mass between plastic wrap or parchment paper thinly, cut into 10 pieces. Prick each pastry square with a fork several times, top with one piece of marzipan and dust with powdered sugar. Place a pear wedge on each pastry square, brush with jam, and bake for about 18‑20 minutes.
