Ingredients

  • 0.5 Vanilla pod
  • 100 g Ground Almonds
  • 50 g raw cane sugar
  • 100 g spelt flour
  • 100 g butter (or margarine)

Instructions

    Split the vanilla pod lengthwise and carefully scrape out the seeds with the back of a knife. Combine with almonds, flour, and sugar in a bowl and mix.

    Melt the fat in a pot over medium heat.

    Add the liquid fat to the flour mixture and stir well.

  4. 4.

    Process the crumbly mixture by hand into streusel crumbs and use as a topping on fruit cakes or fruits for a crumble.
