Spoonsparrow Strawberry Yogurt Parfait: Fresh strawberries and Greek yogurt transform into a delicious ice dessert – perfect for hot days!

Ingredients

  • 350 g fresh strawberries
  • 2 tbsp strawberry syrup
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 Eggs
  • 40 ml orange liqueur
  • 125 g powdered sugar
  • 200 g Greek yogurt
  • 150 g whipping cream
  • mint (for garnish)

Instructions

    Wash and clean the strawberries, then puree about 200 g with the syrup (optionally strain through a fine sieve). Whisk the egg yolks, eggs, orange liqueur, and powdered sugar over a hot water bath until thick and creamy. Chill the mixture, fold in the strawberry purée and yogurt. Beat the cream stiffly, fold it into the mixture, and fill four paper molds with the batter. Freeze the parfaits for at least 3 hours or until fully set, then remove from the refrigerator about 10 minutes before serving.

    Wash, clean, and slice the remaining strawberries. Arrange them on top of the strawberry yogurt parfait and garnish with mint leaves.
