Ingredients

  • 800 g fresh strawberries
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 50 ml raspberry syrup
  • strawberries (for garnish)

Instructions

    Clean, wash and finely puree the strawberries, then strain through a sieve. In a pot combine sugar with 150 ml water, bring to a boil and simmer for 4–5 minutes until sparkling. Strain again and let cool.

    Stir strawberry purée with raspberry syrup, lemon juice and raspberry syrup; place in a shallow bowl and freeze for about 4 hours, stirring vigorously every 20 minutes to prevent large ice crystals and keep the sorbet creamy without an ice cream maker.

    Serve the strawberry sorbet in bowls, garnished with fresh strawberries.
