Fresh strawberry jam made from scratch: fresh strawberries, gelatin sugar, lemon juice and love – homemade tastes best!

Ingredients

  • 1 kg strawberries
  • 500 g 2:1 gelatin sugar
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions

    Clean, wash, quarter the strawberries and combine with gelatin sugar in a pot. Stir and let the mixture release juice for about 2 hours.

    Meanwhile sterilize jars and lids by boiling them in a large pot of hot water for about 10 minutes. Remove jars from water and set upside down on clean kitchen towels to cool.

    Add lemon juice to the strawberries and simmer, stirring, for 4 minutes until bubbling. Fill the prepared jars with strawberry jam, seal, and let sit on the lids for about 15 minutes before turning them over to cool. Finally label the jars.
