Strawberry Gelée with Sweet Cream

Strawberry gelée with sweet cream is a dessert recipe featuring fresh ingredients from the Spoonsparrow collection!

Ingredients

  • 90 g Halva (ready‑made)
  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 ml whipping cream
  • 4 sheets gelatin
  • 350 g strawberries
  • 1 Orange (juice)
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds

Instructions

    Place the halva with the milk in a small saucepan and melt it while stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form and fold into the cooled mixture. Divide into four glasses and refrigerate.

    Soak gelatin sheets in cold water. Wash, hull, and cut strawberries into pieces; set aside some for garnish. Puree the remaining strawberries with orange juice and vanilla sugar. Remove 2–3 Tbsp of puree and melt it with the drained gelatin in a small saucepan. Stir this into the rest of the puree, pour over the halva‑cream mixture, and chill for at least three hours.

    Before serving garnish with the reserved strawberries and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
