Stick Cookies

Ingredients
- 500 g flour
- 250 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- vanilla pods
- 3 packets lemon soda powder
- 2 Eggs
- 30 wide wooden sticks
- 200 g powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- food coloring
- colored sugar beads

Knead the flour with butter, sugar, vanilla, lemon soda powder and the eggs quickly into a smooth dough. Shape it into a ball and wrap in foil; refrigerate for 1 hour.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1.8–2 cm thickness and cut 30 circles of about 6 cm diameter. Insert a wooden stick into each circle. Place the sticks‑topped cookies on parchment paper on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 12 minutes. Remove and cool.

Whisk powdered sugar with lemon juice until smooth, color as desired with food coloring. Brush the cookies with the glaze and decorate with sugar beads; let dry well.
