Ingredients
- 4 hip steaks
- 2 tbsp oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 small firm pears
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions

Peel the pears, halve them, remove the cores, finely dice two pears, cut the rest into thick strips.

Wash the meat, pat dry, lightly salt and pepper. Heat 2 tbsp butter and oil and sear the steaks for 4 minutes on each side, remove, wrap in foil.

Sauté pear halves and cubes with remaining butter in the pan fat. Take the steak out of the foil, cover it with pear cubes and serve with pear slices.
