Ingredients

  • 400 g beef fillet
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 100 g mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 1 baguette
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 200 g cheese (from spray bottle or sliced processed cheese)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Wrap the meat in plastic wrap, then tightly wrap it in foil and freeze for about 30 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to grill mode. Wash, clean, and slice the bell pepper into strips. Clean the mushrooms and cut them thinly. Peel, quarter, and slice the onion into narrow rings.

    Remove the meat from the freezer and cut it into very fine strips. Cut the baguette into four equal pieces and split each lengthwise. Briefly toast in the oven until crisp.

    Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and sauté the bell pepper with onions for about 2 minutes. Remove and set aside. Sauté the meat in the remaining oil for 1-2 minutes, then mix back in the bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms. Sprinkle cheese over the top and let it melt (or lay sliced cheese on top to melt). Season with salt and pepper and fill the baguette slices. Serve with ketchup, mayo, or mustard as desired.
