Ingredients

  • 150 g mixed salad (e.g., Lollo Bianco, Lollo Rosso, field lettuce)
  • 4 Roma tomatoes
  • 0.25 Cucumber
  • 8 radishes
  • 400 g green asparagus
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 200 g cream cheese (plain)
  • 50 g plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 pita breads

Instructions

    Wash, rinse, and dry the salad. Wash, rinse tomatoes, cucumber, and radishes; slice tomatoes and cucumber thinly and cut radishes into fine strips.

    Peel the lower third of the asparagus, trim woody ends, and use an asparagus peeler to cut the spears into thin long strips.

    Sauté these briefly in a pan with melted butter, remove, and let cool.

    Mix cream cheese with yogurt, herbs, and lemon juice; season with salt and pepper.

    Briefly toast pita breads in a hot oven (250 °C) until lightly browned, remove, cool, and cut horizontally. Spread the cream cheese mixture on both halves, then layer salad, cucumber, tomato slices, asparagus, and radishes on the bottom half. Place the top half and serve the burger halves.
